The Ministry of Education has been creating more opportunities and programs for students to gain training and certifications that will assist them with future employment. Over the past year, the HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) training has been used by several teachers to compliment the learning objectives within their Family Studies courses. HIGH FIVE is the quality assurance standard for children’s recreation and sport in Ontario and, increasingly, is becoming the standard across the country.
