Summer Workshop Facilitators needed!
Are you a member of OFSHEEA? Are you interested in running a 3 day workshop this summer? In the past, Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF) has funded summer workshops supported by subject associations. OFSHEEA will submit your proposal on your behalf to OTF.
These intensive workshops, each running for three consecutive days, will take place in different geographical areas across the province during the month of August, 2016. OTF Summer Institutes will be held in Niagara Falls, Toronto, North Bay, Thunder Bay, London, Windsor, Kingston, and Ottawa.
As a member of OFSHEEA, you are invited to develop and facilitate three day Summer Institutes 2016 supporting teacher capacity in the focus areas of:
- Implementing revised curricula (Grades 9-12 Social Sciences and Humanities)
- Infusing financial literacy
- Using information & communication technologies to enhance teaching and learning
